Sadly, the answer lies in how 'Dead Space: Aftermath' was conceived, playing copycat to films like Batman: Gotham Knight, The Animatrix, or Halo Legends. Yep, another animation anthology, where numerous studios contribute portions, which are then presented together with narrative rubber cement to create one unit entirely lacking cohesiveness.

As a fan of sci-fi horror, I went into 'Dead Space: Aftermath' with moderate expectations, hoping for a thrilling experience that would do justice to the Dead Space franchise. However, what I got was a disjointed and unengaging film that failed to deliver on its promise.
